‘Tis the season for Pumpkins and Poe
Halloween is always a fun time in Jim Thorpe.
Morning fog, lifting over the Victorian architecture, revealing magical reds and golds on the mountains that surround us, can make you wonder about the town’s past and those that have walked these streets and wandered through these doors for more than 200 years. Maybe they still do.
At the Times House, we love to pull out our spooky old movie posters to get into the spirit and no Halloween is complete without a Raven or two.
Looking for an extra spooky treat? Be sure to check out the Mahoning Drive-In this weekend for Psycho, Halloween II, Casper, Addams Family, Cujo and The Howling on 35 mm. Dee Wallace will be there too!
